About The Lantern

The Lantern is the newsletter of the Alumni & Volunteer Corporation of the New Jersey Zeta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, located at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The AVC, founded as the Alumni Board in 1997, is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the undergraduate SigEp chapter at Rider.

Sigma Phi Epsilon is the nation’s largest fraternity, with over 14,000 current undergraduate members and chapters at over 260 colleges and universities. The New Jersey Zeta chapter was founded in 1996 with the mission of “building balanced leaders for the world’s communities” and has remained Rider’s premier Greek organization.
